With a fish vendor and an overseas contract worker for parents, he is keenly aware of their hope of him bringing the family out of poverty. His partiality for planetary gravitation lands him the intense devotion of the physics teacher Ms. Casas, the school's longest serving professor, who wants him to get into an Ivy League university abroad. |

ALFRED ALAIN LABATOS as DAKI Daki, epitomizes the youthful zest for scientific research with his groundbreaking and yet morally ambiguous chicken feathers experiment. The faculty celebrates his research when he enters the finals of an international science project competition in Texas. |

SHAYNE FAJUTAGANA as LIWAY Liway strives to find meaning in chemistry and realizes her own role as a catalyst for change. Writing for the school paper, she immerses herself in the issues within the school.
Her anxiety grows as her father, a political dissident hunted by the military, mulls taking the family out of the country to seek asylum in Amsterdam.

CARL JOHN BARRAMEDA as MAT Mat was a celebrity in the small, distant provincial school he attended before entering the science high school. He is about to flunk geometry and according to the rules, he would have to leave the school. |

ELIJAH CASTILLO as MINGGOY Interconnecting the lives of Rom, Wena, Mat, Daki, Liway, Andy, and Euri are the antics of Minggoy , their friend whose zest for life is only periodically dampened by, unknown to most, rounds of excruciating chemotherapy. |
